Tiger Woods has sensationally admitted he "let down" his family and regrets "those transgressions". The world's top golfer posted a statement on his website this afternoon calling himself "far short of perfect".

And he added: "I am dealing with my behaviour and personal failings behind closed doors with my family."

The 33-year-old's grovelling apology came after he was hit by allegations of flings with THREE different women.

In a voicemail recording, Tiger can apparently be heard telling one of the women, Jaimee Grubbs, to delete her personalised greeting — because his wife had been through his phone and "may be calling".

Cocktail waitress Grubbs, 24, claims she had a 31-month affair with Tiger. He was previously linked with socialite Rachel Utchitel, 34.

And a new woman — Las Vegas club promoter Kalika Moquin, 27 — was claimed today to have had a relationship with the married star.In his 300-word statement, Tiger complained about the "tabloid scrutiny" that led to details of his private life being exposed.

And he said his wife Elin Nordegren had "shown more grace than anyone could possibly expect" in the face of the revelations.

It concludes with the words: "I will strive to be a better person and the husband and father that my family deserves. For all of those who have supported me over the years, I offer my profound apology."

A friend of Kalika's this afternoon told America's Life & Style magazine: "They hooked up a bunch of times."

She added: "Tiger told Kalika that married life isn't all it's built up to be."

Kalika allegedly told the pal Woods "wasn't happy in his marriage or his home life and that there was just so much pressure on him".

She later told Life & Style: "It's not appropriate for me to comment one way or the other."

The new allegations came after Woods was charged over a mystery car crash which left him with facial injuries.

It is believed he was leaving his home after a row with Elin over claims of an affair with Rachel when he hit a water hydrant and a tree and was knocked unconscious.

The dad-of-two's refusal to explain exactly what happened, and to speak to cops, fuelled speculation he had something to hide.Tiger is said to have texted Jaimee just three days before the crash warning: "My wife has been through my phone and may be calling you."

Jaimee says the golf champion ordered her to delete her name from her voicemail because his other half was checking his phone records.

She says the superstar told her: "Hey, it's Tiger. I need you to do me a huge favour. Can you please take your name off your phone? My wife went through my phone and may be calling you. So if you can, please take your name off that.

"Just have it as a number on the voicemail. You got to do this for me. Huge. Quickly. Bye."

Tiger allegedly left his voicemail message on the day he was accused of cheating with New York party hostess Rachel in a US magazine.

Tiger is still reeling from his car crash, just yards from his home in Orlando, Florida, and was yesterday found guilty of careless driving — but will escape criminal prosecution.

He could be hit with a £98 fine and four points on his licence.Now he is facing fresh turmoil over Jaimee and Kalika's claims.Waitress Jaimee has revealed how she received 300 texts and had around 20 sexual encounters with Woods.

She said she first met him on a night out with friends at Las Vegas club Light on April, 13, 2007.

Jaimee claims they met again days later in San Diego — her hometown — when he invited her to his hotel and they had sex for the first time. She says they last met up just two months ago.

Jaimee alleged: "He told me just last month, 'Quietly and secretly we will always be together'.

"I loved how we got along. But I knew, in the back of my mind, there could never be just us.

"There would always be the wife, or somebody else."

Recalling their first meeting, Jaimee said Tiger tapped her on the shoulder and said: "You don't look like you're having any fun."

She said he was fun and they later danced together stressing he wasn't wearing a wedding ring.The brunette said she ended up back in his MGM hotel suite but they slept in different rooms.

She added: "The next day, he ordered me lunch in the room. He changed the TV to golf, and I was like, 'I don't want to watch golf. It's boring.' Then I asked him to get me a pillow. He looked at his friends and went, 'Is this girl serious?' At this point, he knew I didn't care who he was."

They later shared a first kiss. Jaimee explained: "He was standing by his bed ready to pack. I ran in jumped on him and tackled him. We rolled around and he kissed me. It was nice and gentle. My heart was beating. We laid there and cuddled for 30 minutes."

Jaimee claims that within days they had sex for the first time at the W Hotel in San Diego.

She recalled: "He just grabbed me and kissed me and we started taking our clothes off and had sex.

"Afterwards, he was like, 'You should probably go.' He told me that he has a hard time sleeping in the same bed with somebody.

"He gave me the impression he and his wife had separate rooms."

Just weeks later, Tiger's wife Erin gave birth to their first child, daughter Sam. Jaimee claimed he never talked about his wife or family and that he was to see her the week his son Charlie was born in February, but cried off.

She revealed: "We never talked about golf. Sometimes we'd talk about his stressful life. He told me his life is overwhelming, but he needed the endorsements and busy schedule because he wasn't as financially stable as he wanted to be.

"I thought, 'F*** him! I'm just an average person — that's a slap in the face.' But he has really high goals for himself."

Jaimee, who is now based in Los Angeles, claimed her mum knew of the affair and that Tiger flew to see her in San Diego every few months. But his recent knee injury played havoc with their alleged affair.

She said: "I didn't see him for almost a year because he was injured and rehabilitating at home. But we still talked.

"Finally, on October 18, we met at the Island Hotel in Newport Beach. We cuddled, watched Angels And Demons, then had sex. It was very romantic.

"He's what my heart wanted. I never said, 'I love you' because I never wanted to scare him off. But I was getting there."

"Whatever happens with Elin, I hope Tiger and I can reconnect and remain good friends."

Jaimee is a reality TV star in the US. She appeared on VH1 show Tool Academy in January.

On the programme, girlfriends sent their badboy lovers to a relationship bootcamp. She claimed her man Shawn Southern took no interest in her life and treated her as arm candy.
