SA President Zimbabwe son emerges at police station

A Zimbabwean man is claiming to be the love child of South African President Jacob Zuma.
Dudzai Nyamuramba, 30, of Wedza alleges that Zuma met his mother, Maggie Sandimunyonga, while in exile in Mozambique. He said his mother has since died.
Nyamuramba told a South African newspaper that he arrived in the country last June and was looking for an opportunity to finally meet Zuma and reunite with the rest of his “family”.
"I would love to meet my father and the rest of my family. I tried going to Nkandla, but I was arrested," he said.
A South Afrrican police spokesman confirmed that Nyamuramba was arrested in January.
"He was in the country illegally as he didn't have a passport. He was taken to immigration offices and we don't know if he was ever deported to Zimbabwe," he said.
However early in the week, Nyamuramba went to the Westville police station, pleading his case, and asked them to assist him in his quest to be united with his father.
A police officer at the station, who would not be named, said a dejected Nyamuramba had arrived at the station with his suitcase, claiming to be the son of Jacob Zuma.
According to the officer, he bore a striking resemblance to Zuma.
"He was very tired, and he kept on asking us to take him to Nkandla so he could meet his 'relatives'. I don't know whether he is or isn't Zuma's child, but he sure does look like him," the officer said.
Another officer at the police station said: "This guy didn't want anything from Zuma; he just wanted to be acknowledged as his son. He seemed so desperate to meet the family that he never knew.
"I don't think the Zuma family will easily allow him into their nest, but with the number of kids that Zuma has, I wouldn't be surprised if he really is who he claims to be."
The officers said after Nyamuramba could not get any assistance at the police station, he left, saying he would eventually find his father.
The South African President had not commented on Nyamuramba’s claims.
His claims come at a time President Zuma is battling to fend-off public criticism after news broke that he fathered a child with a woman to currently among his three official wives.
The South African leader admitted that he had fathered a child with a divorced woman but insisted this was a private matter.
