In just seven days, Drake University has to say goodbye to two of its students. Over this weekend graduate student Clifton Murove fell off a balcony. And last Sunday, police found Ryan Henderson dead in his car.

Many students are stunned after losing two students in one week.

"It's definitely shocking. Drake's a really small community, it's a small campus and we're all really close knit and the fact that two students passed away is hard to digest," says Drake sophomore Zac Pace.

School therapist Kirk Braggs is hoping to help students digest this loss. He's already met with several students and expects to see more through out the week.

"People just need to talk, sometimes grief is expressed orally, people have to talk about their memories of that person or they need to talk about anger that it happened," said Braggs.

He says there's no right or wrong way to handle a loss. The university's counseling center has five therapists on hand. They also have a 24–7 pager line, so students can get help at any time.

Police say the student who died this weekend, Clifton Murove, was out drinking with his friends that night-something Drake wants students to know.

"They may or may not have been alcohol related, if they are alcohol related and that's what comes out then we need to do more alcohol education, in part education about binge drinking."

Students on campus are glad to know counselors are there if they ever need them.

"It's hard to deal with a loss like this, but I definitely think Drake has great things to help," said Pace.

There will be a prayer vigil for both students tomorrow night at 8 in the Morehouse Ballroom. Students can also go there any time during the day Wednesday.
